The founder of Jennings Karate Academy and Pioneer of Isshin Ryu Karate in Rochester, Master Joe Jennings will be returning to Rochester September 23rd - 25th for some Training Seminars and a Black Belt and Alumni Dinner! 2010 KARATE KID CAMP A SUCCESS!
What did your kids do this summer?
Well, both camps are now over and, boy, did we have a great time! Campers has the chance to learn karate, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, kendo, weapons, and self-defense while having a blast on the Ultimate Obstacle Courses, relay races, and other games and sports.

KENDO PROGRAM GROWING!
Kendo is a hit in Rochester!
Kendo, the traditional art of Japanese sword fighting, has all the physical and mental benefits of any other martial art including discipline, self-control, confidence, self-defense, and fitness. It is great for all ages and skill levels.
During classes students practice sword basics, footwork, katas, and sparring. Classes are held Tuesdays 6:45pm - 7:30pm, Thursdays 4:15 - 5:15, and Saturdays 11:00am - 12:00pm. We have a great introductory program right now that includes 3 classes, a uniform, and training manual for those interested in trying out Kendo for the first time.
