NEW YEAR WORKOUT TIPS:
1. WARM UP - Regardless of the type of exercise you do, preparing your body with a less rigorous activity at first may help prevent injury.
2. HYDRATE - Continue to drink water during after your workout.
3. EAT - Your body needs food within an hour of your workout. Make sure to include protein to help build muscle tissue.
4. LISTEN - Was your workout too hard? Too easy? You should always listen to what your body is telling you.

Welcome to Samurai Martial Arts – proudly teaching martial arts in Rochester, NY for over 30 years! All Martial Arts classes are taught by experienced, professional black belt employees. The International Isshin-Ryu Karate Federation mission is to offer guidance and support, educate, promote, and unite Isshin-Ryu Karate practitioners and martial artists throughout the world.
Sensei Curt Sawyer, along with Sensei Matt Dorsey (Martial Arts America owner and head instructor) started this organization early this year to unite karate dojos.
